Pearl Harbor is an active military base, and because of safety concerns they have enacted a strict “no-bag” policy at all of the Pearl Harbor historical sites. This would be at the guest’s expense.

Can I bring a bag with medical supplies in it?
We have had passengers on our trip that have required having such things as diabetes supplies or other medical items with them during their tour. We suggest bringing as small of a bag as possible with medical documentation stating the necessity of the supplies. In the past the Park Rangers at Pearl Harbor have been able to allow documented medical supplies in a small bag.

Pearl Harbor does have a snack shop as well as a concession stand near the visitor’s center. Over on Ford Island there are additional dining options such as sit-down facilities.
